Lina Marmolejo is a doctoral student and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Criminology, Law and Society Department at George Mason University (USA). Prior to starting the doctoral program, she worked as a citizen security specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She has more than a decade of experience designing, managing and implementing international development projects, with an emphasis on crime prevention in Latin America and the Caribbean countries. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po-Paris) and a Bachelors on Finance and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
